TECHNOLOGY FOR OBTAINING A RIBBON-TYPE SMART DESICCANT BASED ON ALUMINA NANOFIBERS

PURPOSE
The technology allows to obtain ribbon-type air desiccants for use in modern pneumoautomatic vehicles systems. Smart desiccant has high moisture absorption properties owning to the use of flexible alumina ceramic nanofiber array when forming highly developed internal surface of the plate.
The technological processes for obtaining the morphology of desiccants with ceramic alumina nanofibers were developed. The lab tests of experimental samples were conducted.

ADVANTAGES

- thermal stability, increased mechanical durability, flexibility, and wear resistance;
- can be processed at low temperatures (120-140 °С) in a short time.

- compressed air purification and dehumidification systems.
