DEVICE FOR GENERATION AND CONTROL OF COLD ATMOSPHERIC PLASMA

DESCRIPTION

The device uses pulse-width modulated signals to generate plasma with various properties.

To ensure stable operation at the resonant frequency when interacting with object surfaces, a phase-locked loop is used.

Built-in diagnostic tools make it possible to assess the energy properties of the plasma itself and to control its interaction with the surface of the object. Their operation is based on measuring and analyzing signal parameters in the generator output circuit.

APPLICATION AREAS

Biology and Healthcare

  • sterilization of medical instruments and heat-sensitive equipment;
  • sterilization of wounds, burn surfaces, and chronic trophic ulcers;
  • therapy of inflammatory skin diseases (acne, dermatitis, eczema).

Microelectronics

  • cleaning of semiconductor wafers from contaminants without damaging the microstructure;
  • surface activation prior to deposition of thin films and photoresists.

Chemical industry and advanced materials

  • modification of surface properties of materials (hydrophilicity, hydrophobi-city, adhesion, biocompatibility);
  • surface activation of composites, ceramics, metals, and glass prior to bond-ing, coating, or metallization.

Environmental protection

  • disinfection of drinking water and water in closed-loop water supply systems without the use of chemical reagents;
  • air purification from volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, and bacteria in industrial ventilation systems.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
