SUMMARY OF POSITIONS HELD

Gusinsky Alexander has been working at the university since 1975, starting from the position of a Laboratory Assistant, Engineer, Senior Engineer, Head of a Laboratory, Junior Researcher, Researcher, Assistant to the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Information Security at BSUIR.

Working at the Department of Information Security, he made a significant contribution to the development and improvement of the educational process. He developed a number of lecture courses and laboratory workshops, carried out the formulation of a new discipline "Information-measuring systems", put a number of laboratory works for modernization.

A. Gusinsky is the author of numerous educational and methodological developments of the department, supervises the work of graduate students and applicants. Under his direct supervision, two Ph.D. theses were prepared. The list of scientific works includes more than 120 pieces. In addition, three monographs (in co-authorship) have been prepared for publication.

A. Gusinsky makes a significant contribution to the development of scientific and innovative activities of the university. For more than 25 years he has been engaged in scientific activity on the development and research of measuring equipment in the microwave range. Under his leadership, samples of radio measuring devices are being developed, which are of interest to specialists in ultrahigh frequency measurements. Based on the positive results of state tests, the production of a computer-measuring system for measuring the module of transmission and reflection coefficients (vector network analyzer, scalar network analyzer), a frequency converter has been mastered. It is planned to master in production a panoramic meter of complex reflection and transmission coefficients in the frequency range of 75-110 GHz and a radar transceiver module,

Since 2002 prof. Gusinsky has been working at the R&D Center 1.9, BSUIR (currently he is the Scientific Supervisor). With his direct participation and scientific leadership, a testing laboratory for microwave equipment and devices, accredited in the Accreditation System for Testing, Verification and Calibration Laboratories of the Republic of Belarus, has been created and is successfully operating at BSUIR.

Under the leadership of A. Gusinsky, methods of metrological certification were developed for numerous measuring instruments. He made efforts for measuring instruments of the millimeter wavelength range to be entered into the Register of the Republic of Belarus: panoramic meter of complex reflection and transmission coefficients R4-MWM-118, generator G4-MWM-118, panoramic meter of VSWR and reflection P2-MWM-37, microwave power meter M2- MWM. The G4-MWM-37 and M2-MWM are included in the Register of the Russian Federation.

A. Gusinsky is the scientific supervisor of research work carried out at the Center. Over the past years, the Center's staff has taken an active part in the State Scientific and Technical Programs of the State Scientific and Technical Program "Microelectronics", the State Scientific and Technical Program "Standards and Scientific Devices", the State Scientific and Technical Program "Optiel", the State Scientific and Technical Program "Radioelectronics", the State Research Program “Mechanics, Metallurgy, Diagnostics in Mechanical Engineering”, the State Research Program “Physical Materials Science, New materials and Technologies ”.

 

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

He is currently the head of the Center 1.9 Scientific-research part BSUIR. With his direct participation and scientific leadership, a test laboratory for microwave equipment and devices has been created and is successfully operating at BSUIR, accredited in the Accreditation System of testing, calibration and calibration laboratories of the Republic of Belarus.
 
The samples of radio measuring instruments created by this laboratory are successfully exported to China, India, Germany, South Korea, Libya, Finland, Ukraine and Russia.
Under the leadership of Dr Gusinski methods of metrological certification for numerous measuring instruments were developed. A number of produced devices were added to the Register of the Republic of Belarus oo the measuring instruments for the millimeter wavelength range: a panoramic meter of complex reflection and transmission coefficients P4-MWM-118, a generator G4-MWM-118, a panoramic meter voltage standing wave ratio and reflection P2-MWM-37, a wattmeter of absorbed power M2-MWM. The G4-MWM-37 generator and the M2-MWM power meter are included in the similar Register of the Russian Federation.
